The U.S. Army awarded Huntsville-based HigherEchelon Inc., a veteran-owned, business-consulting and services company, a $36 million firm-fixed-price contract for cyber instructional training and training support services.
The contract calls for work locations to be determined with each order, and it carries an estimated completion date of Feb. 18, 2027. The Army’s Field Directorate Office at Fort Eustis, Virginia, is the contracting agency.
HigherEchelon works with leadership development, workflow improvement, and provides cybersecurity and technology solutions. It also works with clients in the fields of sports psychology/development, sales, enterprise technology, and in gaming and simulation, among other areas of consultation.
The company is headquartered in Huntsville and has an office in Arlington, Virginia.

Other recent contracts:
- University of Alabama in Huntsville was awarded a $10.9 million cost-no-fee contract for the Advanced Technology Test and Development Program. Work will be performed in Huntsville, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 26, 2025.
- Steward Machine Co. Inc., Birmingham, was awarded a $9 million firm-fixed-price contract to replace gates. Work will be performed in New London, Missouri, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 19, 2026.
- Altec Industries Inc., Birmingham, was added as an awardee to a multiple-award contract for trucks and trailers. The Alabama company joins other companies in filling an overall contract valued at $248 million.
