The U.S. Air Force awarded a $10.4 million contract for helicopter overhaul work to an Enterprise, Alabama, company located near the Army’s Fort Rucker, which is home to Army aviation and much of the military’s premier helicopter training and development.
Arista Aviation Services since has become part of the United Aero Group, which has offices and operations in several other locations and specializes in helicopter service, parts and sales.
The contract involves work on Air Force UH-1N helicopters, including the overhaul of dynamic components.
Work will be performed in Enterprise and is expected to be completed by Aug. 31, 2031.
The Air Force Sustainment Center, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the contracting agency.
