Brasfield & Gorrie LLC, Birmingham, is one of 14 construction companies across the nation chosen to compete for orders in a $2 billion contract with the U.S. Army for a construction-related, energy-saving program intended to better govern consumption and enhance on-site energy availability.
The companies will compete for each order in the contract for design-build and design-bid-build construction services supporting the Energy Resilience and Conservation Investment Program nationwide.
The program is part of the War Department’s effort to “contribute to mission assurance, save energy, and reduce DoD’s energy costs.
