The U.S. Air Force has awarded Yorktown Systems Group Inc., headquartered in Huntsville, an almost $51.6 million contract to provide specialized training services at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado.
Yorktown provides a wide range of training, including educational development, language and culturally oriented services in more than 70 languages, collection management for commanders and intelligence professionals in support of large-scale combat operations, and various other training services.
The contract calls for Yorktown to provide what the military labels as Warfighter Training Support Services, at the academy, which is located in Colorado Springs.
Work is expected to be complete by Aug. 2, 2031.

Yorktown won the job in a competition among 12 offers received by the Air Force.
Yorktown Systems Group, Inc. was founded in 2008, “with the goal of providing training and tools to soldiers prior to deployment,” according to company materials.
The 10th Contracting Squadron, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado, is the contracting agency.
Information for the September class is not yet available but will be announced soon on the Maxwell AFB website and social media.
